I love my 2020 Ridgeline. But Honda not so much. Performance Honda in Cincinnati installed a new battery in May 2023. The battery died in April 2024. Hendricks Honda in Bradenton FL charged me $343 for a new battery. The dead battery lasted 11 months and had a 36 month warranty but since I didn’t have the papers with me I had to pay. The next day I brought the original paperwork to Hendricks but they told me they wouldn’t reimburse me and I had to take it up with Honda customer service. Honda customer service says they only cover original warranty items and that the dealerships are responsible for other warranty items, such as this battery. Hendricks still refuses to reimburse. Bottom line is no one is paying me for an 11 month old battery installed by a Honda dealership and then replaced by a Honda dealership with a 3 year 100% warranty. So much for Honda warranties and customer service. After 8 Honda cars/trucks and 1 Goldwing, I think I’m done with Honda.

Post a 1 star review on Google for the Honda dealer in FL and see if they reach out. My 2020 RTL was totaled and I had both GAP and a VSA which I canceled. The dealer dragged their feet until I posted a 1 star review on Google, 30 minutes later the GM called and left a VM and they cut a check the same day and mailed it out.
