How many Ridgeline owners does it take to change a light bulb?

I'm in here, how about you?

1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed

14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently

7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs

6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ...

another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid

2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"

15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct

19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a light bulb forum

11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum

36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty

5 People to post pics of their own light bulbs

15 People to post "I can't see S$%^!" and their own light bulbs

7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs

4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's

13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too"

5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy

4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"

13 to say "do a search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs"

1 to bring politics into the discussion by adding that George W. isn't the brightest bulb.

4 more to get into personal attacks over their political views.

1 moderator to lock the light bulb thread.

1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months later and start it all over again.

....and 1 to write this one :D

You sure you even own a Ridgeline? I want to see pictures!!
If you owned a Ridgeline, you would know that you bring it to the dealer and school them on the TSB that get's you the bulb changed for free... We do know more about the Ridgeline and it's TSBs than the dealers you know... ;)
:D

Now wait a minute here........ You know that most dealers are rip off artists and should be avoided at all costs. Get a BIG screw driver and a BIGGER hammer and have at it. If the bulb was broken before you started and it still broken after your too tired to continue, the dealer will not have broken something trying to replace the broken bulb.......

HHhhhheeeeeehhhheeeeee:D

You are aware that in the FORD, CHEVY, and DODGE trucks light bulbs are designed to blow during the first week. Theory is that the owners will be distracted by the blown bulbs and not notice all the other stuff that's falling off their trucks.
Industry term is "Reverse Illumination"!

See, now that is FUNNY. How many Chevy trucks do you see with their DRlights winking at you. MOST! :D:cool:

2 ridgeline owners wanting to sell their light bulbs
1 ROC sponser offering to sell "light bulbs"
1 Other ROC sponser offering to sell "lightbulbs"
1 Moderator with link showing Honda light bulb sales up over last year
1 link to Ford F150 site saying Honda Light bulbs are not truck light bulbs
5 users posting picture please
1 user wanting help to post picture of lighbulb and
5 users stating that the picture has to be the right size and
3 users offering to post the picture of the lightbulb that the user cannot figure out how to post

Good point! But I personally like the bullet/shell/cartridge threads. They are a lot more fun.
A "clip" is used to hold loaded cartridges by the case head and used the load a rifles or pistols "magazine" (ie stripper clip / M1 garand, ect). A "magazine" is what you place the loaded cartridges in and the "magazine" is placed into the "magazine well" of a pistol or rifle :D  :p

For me, it's 100% or 1 for 1, battin' a thousand. We can't keep a left "lamp" (or is it a "bulb"?) in the '03. We have officially "given up" on this issue. :( Can't wait to dump it for an '08 Ridge. :D

I was going to make a coment about "Coastline" having to much time on his hands. Then relised the amount of time I'm taking. And well I think I better log out and go sit in a corner and think hard on this Life leason. Then maybe some day I will learn to spell to.
