How about an overall shot of the whole front assembly?

Here's a shot of the rear brake diagram:

Let me know if you need anything else.

No worries... glad to help.

Staypuff- You remembered the magnets in the rear rotor? I just did my brakes all the way around and almost forgot the magnets. Hope you remembered?

No, thankfully I didn't do the rotors just the pads; I take it the magnets are for the wheel speed sensors?

The truck is at 65k and the rotors look brand new in the rear (no towing I guess). We'll see if the replacement bendix pads last as long as the OEM.

I have 82k on my 09 RTL. Rear pads were down with maybe 15% left. Front pads were close to 35%. Last year they (a ROC business supporter) ran a special on drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads. I bought a full set. My wife's 09 Accord last week developed this weird hum when backing up. So I checked and sure enough the rear pads needed to be replaced. So I quickly did them and then my MM on my RL hit 10%. So I decided to do the brakes while I had all the wheels off for rotation. I will keep the rotors as they are in excellent shape, just incase I have a problem down the road.
Yes the magnet is for the speed sensor. I almost forgot, because the fronts are in the hub, which I just thought the rear were too. Glad I caught it.

What magnets are you talking about? I'm calling BS on this.
I just replaced both rear rotors on my 2012 Ridgeline, and after reading your post, I spent a couple of hours trying to figure out what the hel you were talking about, and never found anything about magnets in rotors. I went ahead and installed the new rotors, everything is fine. The ABS sensors are not reading anything off the rotors. Are you just trying to cause trouble for people?

*I THINK* he's referring to the magnetic encoder present at all four corners.

OK, does anybody on this forum have any idea what this magnet on brake rotors reference is about??
There is no magnet on the brake rotors. As OhSix stated, there is a magnetic encoder in the wheel bearing. The SM makes absolutely no mention of a magnet on the rotor. I call BS also. Posting misleading information doesn't help anyone on this fine forum!
