Found my ac leaking on pass side condenser after peeling off a large piece of powder coating and found aluminum corroded(white). Anybody else see this before? I'll have dealer do the install and they will price match Benardi Honda on parts. Keep ya posted on total bill.

Take some pics of the affected area if you can and post 'em up.

this was the best I could do - I already put the rad brackets back on so I had to go through the grill to get pic. I pulled a large piece off the side of the condenser including the foam gasket between rad and condenser.

I would wonder if all the chemicals and salt used on the roads in the winter time might have some to do with this.

The tiniest pebble can hit the condenser at up to 120 MPH, and put a little dent in there, deforming the metal and undermining the powder coat. Salt settles in there and eats away at it for a season or two and you've got a hole.

All my Hondas have plastic mesh out front of the condenser to slow the projectiles down.

Dang. I'm thinking kevlar might be a better choice. ;)
