The PDF version of the owners manual was a very welcome tool for figuring out my 2019 Ridgeline RTL. Fast forward to 2024 and I downloaded the 2024 version to figure out all the controls on my BE and I have found that most, but not all, graphics are missing. Very frustrating for this IT challenged old person.

I have deleted and re-downloaded the PDF manual several times with the same missing graphics. It's like a GIS overlay is missing. Is this another example of operator error or are other people having the same issues with the 2024 Owner's Manual PDF?
I'll attache a couple of screenshots for examples.

Mine does that too. 2023. I could have sworn that it used to work.

 

Works for me if I get it from the Honda site (mygarage.honda.com), not the dealer link. If it still doesn't work for you, it is the PDF reader you are using, and it isn't populating the graphics (if it is the browser, delete the history and cache). But try these official links first.

I did download my original copy from MyGarage. When I use your first link above, it showed the graphic but did not show me as signed in on the PDF reader. When I did sign in and download the manual, the graphics disappeared. I did update the PDF Expert reader, changed my password and re-signed in and still no joy. I have run a CleanMyMac and deleted the history, cookies, and cache but will run again.

Mine works fine, but it is a version that I downloaded in January of this year.

 

For several years, I've dealt with missing graphics or parts of graphics on PDF documents - including Honda owner's manuals when viewing them using the built-in PDF viewer. When I use Adobe Acrobat, the images display fine.

 

I downloaded my OM 12/14/2023 from the Honda website and it has the graphics.

This leads me to believe it is the viewer that is not displaying all of the graphics.

 

Try Adobe Acrobat reader.

 

I would just start with the basics… open with SAFARI. No need to keep installing things unless you have reason.

 

I think I resolved the issue with all of your help.

I don't know why PDF Expert somehow stopped showing the graphics but it appears it did. I have had an Adobe account for many years and for a long time I thought PDF Expert was an Adobe product but, it appears not to be so. Somewheres along the line I unknowingly switch from Adobe to PDF Expert.

I have now deleted PDF Expert entirely (with CleanMyMac) and downloaded Adobe and I think it's working.

 

It takes a village to lead to a beneficial result.

On a related note, I'm curious if the graphics below in the 2023 manual are very pixelated and blurry for others. I'm typically reading the manual in Chrome or PDF X-change Viewer.

I think this is just low-quality imagery, because when I looked in my printed manual, it was just as bad.

Anything that shows the multi-information display examples, like on the right side of this page 78:

Yeah those were created that way by whomever made the Manual, that is not an error on your part. Good eye, you should be a proofreader.

 

I get the same thing on my acrobat reader. It's a bad file.

 

The pixelated images are because they source is a low-resolution bitmapped image rather than a vector image.

I have the same issue

Graphics do not show when getting file from the "my garage link" or when opening up with preview, safari, or adobe acrobat reader.

Really annoying
