Looking for a positive, and pure speculation here, the absolute minimal of minimalist changes on the 2026 MY lend a lot of weight to the theory that there is probs a major update coming to the Ridgeline in the next year or so. IE Honda have kept any changes to the iterim MY, the 2026, to the lowest level possible.

I don't know how much longer folks are going to wait around for the next Ridgeline if they are going to wait for the bugs to be worked out. Now that it's been confirmed that Toyota is going to have something to compete against the Maverick and possibly RAV4 platform based and likely hybrid, that may be the right size. 27 could be an interesting time. I think by then we'll know about the next Colorado, the Toyota and the RL which I assume will get the hybrid tech for large Hondas.

I just don't understand how the Tacos are moving now with 3k discounts on something that is way overpriced. They must be good at selling to the monthly payment crowd.

They will have to wait another year or three from what I've understood. And even that is a bit murky. None of the compacts or mid size trucks match the Ridgeline for a road going vehicle with mid-size towing and load ratings.

Neither the Maverick nor the Santa Cruz compare to the Ridgeline apples to apples. The Maverick is small, compact as is the Cruz. More comparable to the old Rangers, but with the unibody design so hated by the "real truck" club. That comparison would be similar to the comparison of the Ridgeline to an F150, still not apples to apples.

As said, should be good times in 27.

As expected, not many changes.

  • ~$450 price hike on all trims
  • Trailsport gets a new colour - Ash Green, first seen on the 2026 MY Passport
  • Choice of either a contrasting black roof or body color roof for the Black Edition trim, in either Sonic Gray Pearl or Platinum White Pearl exterior colors.

I think that's about it.

Nothing like a black roof to keep that interior cool now, is there. :p

Hard to quell the masses in the streets of the cities of the U.S. in joyous celebration of the non-AI created information on the 2026 Honda Ridgeline, finally released by Honda America Manufacturing. National guard units may be brought in to casually walk around the massive crowd, maybe help direct traffic.

Really all the BS you tube videos should be require to pull their bullshit down. Well, except that one that had a really sweet looking compact rendition of a Ridgeline. Looked pretty cool.

From Honda, RL in Ash Green

(Not sure of exact trim, it's off their main 2026 Ridgeline page.)

Edit - I just found out the trim. It's a Trailsport with the optional HPD Front Grille accessory and non standard HPD wheels that are an option on the 2026 BE but not the Trailsport.

I think the biggest disappointment is the interior of the Ridgeline - the same basic design for going on 10 years with a few minor changes.

Yeah, isn't it about time they switched things up to make it less comfortable? Maybe take off the volume knob to stir things up again.

Really, as petty as it sounds, I was glad I got a 23 instead of a 24. I can fit a full size box of tissues in the console to deal with sneezes and runny nose. Plus I still have the ratcheting arm rest, which is probably more support than the "new improved" console with arm rest. It's a shame they didn't make a sunglasses compartment that has a shape conducive to regular sunglasses instead of F-Oakleys.

Maybe they can source some of the cheap looking plastics used in the Mavericks.

Why, I remember in my day when C10s and F150s had the same dash board for decades! None of that cheap plastic stuff, good old steel! And a radio with push buttons and knobs to tune in my favorite AM stations.
