Believe it or not the rear bumper step is an absolute must for the RL. Guy backed into me in a parking lot, pushed the plastic rear bumper into the rear fenders, distorted the trailer hitch, cracked one of the rear taillight lens & pretty much destroyed the bumper. C$6000.00 in repairs, all new parts.

I gotta have a hood protector too. One or two un-noticed stone ships & the rust begins. Oh ya, I opted to install the OEM Honda coloured-coded body side mouldings. Even parking far away at the mall, some freakin schlub invariably parks beside me. One open door wind gust & I receive a door ding that is incredibly hard to deal with.

Also added the OEM Glove Box and Center Console organizers. Didn't take pics because lighting wasn't conducive to show them properly.

One thing I'll comment on additionally. The RL has lots of pockets/storage bins, but they're all too small to store much...at least the stuff I have.

With regard to the bump step: this is one accessory that doesn't have to be specifically for the Ridgeline. With probably a hundred to choose from should I get one that is all steel, all synthetic, steel structure with synthetic step that wraps around it? I'm thinking all steel but is a more forgiving exterior better to avoid damage to another vehicle from a slight bump or better at absorbing some impact stress to avoid damage to my receiver?
