Apple Maps Turns Off music while giving spoken directions

Hey guys looking for help, is there a way to have my map not pause my music while giving directions, in every other car I’ve driven, the music would be lowered during spoken directions. I’ve tried every setting and still nothing. This is for Apple CarPlay.

I know it sucks, but maybe delete the vehicle (16AHU) from Bluetooth. It might be the Bluetooth trying to hijack during announcing. In fact, I would over-do-it and delete Bluetooth and from CarPlay. When you re-connect... check your Bluetooth device and the properties of 16AHU and make sure the device "type" is set to "CAR STEREO"
