There, That G1 vs G2 part is resolved.

ISO, I'm following this thread closely, personally I like the one next to the cruise control switch (lower left). But will follow your lead

+1 on moving the cargo light location, that moves it slightly closer to the driver, and number of times I have used the cargo light button, not many.

Just one more thought, wonder if we could flatten the surface of one of the "blank" plate faces (thinking sand it smooth with 400-600 grit) then get a slightly oversized piece of plastic, dremmel it to fit the sticker, then JB Weld plastic or Bondic (UV plastic glue)

The problem I see is the existing blanks are textured, & slightly curved. Just attaching the sticker is going to be a once & done process.

EDIT: And hope like HECK it stays ;)

@RCNet

That's a very clean install, let us know if/when you use it and what you think about it.

Nice find @Sawdust Technology is definitely removing the knee banging typical location of brake controllers

IDK, @McChizzle or @G2 Prospect, I’m running an 2018 iPad and both links work fine. There’s some ongoing issues with this site, which may or may not be relevant. Additionally some issues could result from que’s having corrupted information.

G2 if you don’t mind, maybe clean the temporary internet files from the browser of choice, and try again, or maybe just try it again, and either start a new thread in this section unless it looks relevant to the SQL thread.

Update on my REDARC Tow-Pro Elite
It had been working fine until this last Tuesday when I was about 3/4th of the way home from a long trip to Northern Vermont. The controller would only apply full brakes when activated and it activated inconsistently. It was quite a "white knuckle" affair getting back home in one piece after a 1,200 mile camping trip.

My controller is still under warranty, so I followed REDARC's instructions on their website and contacted them. They said their product almost never fails and that I must have done something wrong and asked that I put the system through a battery of tests with equipment I do not have before they would talk with me about replacing the controller. I am not happy! :mad:

Sounds similar to my interaction with Spectra over the radiator I purchased from Amazon. Local for something expensive and easily damaged, RockAuto for the rest of my stuff…
