I am in a position to buy a used 2019 RTL-E from a dealership, which happened to be the dealership's loaner. My original plan was to buy new, and this dealer pledged to obtain a new vehicle for me and failed to deliver, so this is an offer to keep my business. I am in a position to negotiate, but also out of my depth on research. Hoping the helpful members of this forum could get me started!
Could and should I request that the vehicle gets "certified pre-owned" status/inspection? Does it actually help anything?
Would asking for an extended warranty be in my favor and what do they cover?
Is there a recent list of things I should inspect on the truck prior to delivery and is it reasonable to expect that they would fix what's broken?
Anything else I should keep in mind?
