Had a 2018 that I mostly drove in ECON mode. Drove to Florida and back and averaged just under 25mpg. It was the 3.5L EcoBoost. Every once in a while is switch to Sport mode- what a blast! Averaged 24mpg commuting 5 days a week in Northern Virginia- it's all about timing. Used to leave home to be at my desk by 5am. Traffic was still heavy but that early most people seemed to know what they were doing and we moved right along. Mostly the same deal heading home at 1pm, but slightly slower. Same commute at 6 or 7am and it's easily 2-3 times slower, more cars and people who don't care if their actions cause issues.
