So like an idiot, I followed the instructions available on the Honda Service Express site. DON'T, because they're wrong. If you want a good laugh, check them out below. I can't believe Honda actually charges for the misinformation on that site.

The proper way to remove the license plate lights is:
First, locate your license plate lights :wink:
Now, grab the lens of the license plate and pull it towards the back of the bumper. You'll see
a gap open between the side of the lamp housing and the bumper. Now take your other hand
and slide the lamp housing closest to the truck under your fingernails and lift.
It should pull right out and you won't break the tab off...like I did.
