Lift kit - 1.5” front and 0.75” rear. Leveling kit is only the front. Shop installation.

 

Does it ride any different than it did?

 

I see Jsport makes a front/back 1.5 lift and a leveling kit for a 1.5 front only. I think the leveling kit is what I want. I wonder how much it would cost to install and what places do the best work. Im in the Phoenix area.

Did you have it done at the dealer or a 4x4 shop or a repair shop? How much was the labor?

 

I know that some Honda dealerships will do it but I would bet dollars to donuts that mine would not.

 

I put 1.5 level last year on my 21. I did the truxx installed by a local shop. Kit and install was under $600 which included alignment.

 

Can anyone else comment on the effect to ride quality from the J Sport kit? Sounds like some people like the ride better with it, but some find it more harsh...

 

I have the 1.5" HRG lift kit on my 2021 Sport and honestly it rides like it did brand new off the lot. I do have larger tires which I believe helps. I removed the air dam and still get 19 city and 27 highway. Truck looks so much better!

Both. 1.5" front and 1" rear. Yes 265/60/18 on the tires. Firestone AT2

Is anyone aware what the new ground clearance would be with a 1.5" leveling kit? I believe the stock is 7.6". I'm just unsure where the low point is and how much the leveling kit would increase it by.

 

I've measured and I'm over 9" at the lowest point I could find. Keep in mind I have a lift in the rear as well and get another .5" with the larger tires.The approach angle is substantially better with the lift and without the front air dam.

 

What size tires did you get? How do I remove the air dam

 

I get a little bit but only in full lock reverse. It's not bad.
