I've posted this up a long time ago and I know the photos are huge (hopefully it's auto-resize). This was the 2.5" ID Spugen exhaust I had done on my first ridgeline.

 

where did u get that tip

 

which tip?

 

side exit boom tube style stolen from nascar technology.

 

um your off on that a bit

it needs to be cut flush with the side to promote scavenging and should end up kinda like my old one and it should have an expanding design

 

A polystyrene exhaust?

 

Its hard to tell much from the pic, I have since placed fins in it for the scavenging, actually using smoke flow testing for the proper placement and angle of them, perks of working for the Gov. used pressure differential and all kinds of daq

 

im talkin bout the one on C25A1guy's ridge but found out the info i needed and thats probably the setup i will use, i will not use things on my vehicles that r just screw on tips that u get from auto zone. its a waste of money, looks dumb, and doesnt do anything for ur mpg or hp.

 

Sorry for not getting back to this in a timely fashion. I did not install a tip on my exhaust system. What you see there is just the piping that comes straight out from a magnaflow muffler.

 

i did some research and found out what the muffler from the magnaflow back is thanks though

 

It would be great if we could get some recordings of the sounds from these systems.

 

i would love to hear the exhaust on the C25A1guy's ridge but he said he doesnt have it any longer

 

If I had extra cash, I would probably re-do this system (possibly incorporate a turn-down pipe to reduce more interior resonance) and put it on my current ridge, but I got a wedding to pay for.

 

Turndowns do NOT reduce resonance, run the pipe/tip straight out the back past the bumper, trust me.
