An interesting find. It appears someone at Honda News Canada may have gotten a bit ahead of themselves when typing the URL, as the page content itself is the official specification sheet for the 2025 model year, not the 2026. I've seen people wish for the future, but rarely an entire webpage.

Because this is the official data for the current 2025 Canadian Ridgeline, comparing it to the known 2025 Canadian specifications yields, as you might expect, a perfect match. As for how these differ from the US 2025 model, the usual distinctions apply. Canada has a more streamlined trim lineup (Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition) and makes certain features standard, like a heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats on the top trim. It's the classic tale of two countries separated by a common truck, with minor differences in standard equipment and packaging.

I have seen so many Ridgelines lately. I'm up at the beach for the summer and often times I see several (4-5) each day on the road. Yesterday at the town recycling center there were 4 Ridgelines out of 13-15 cars. It's easy to see why so many people love their Ridgelines.

There will be a 2026 and a 2027 Ridgeline and beyond. Honda will not abandon this market as the proliferation of TrailSport models is hitting all lines.

I’m tempted to look at a new BE but the 2019 Sport I picked up during COVID for $27K has only 20K miles, doesn’t leak and the 5in “Infotainment system” is very responsive. Plus, it doesn’t have any Nannie’s that will potentially cause annoyances or break. On the other hand - Carvana is offering ~$25K for my RL so….

I was at the dealership on Saturday, looking to maybe trade my '19 RTL-T on a '25 Black Edition. My salesperson said the 2026s will start production in September - he looked it up in the ordering system. He didn't have any news on changes, other than some color changes that I think were listed earlier, but didn't think anything significant was coming.

So sad to hear there will be no improvement in the 2026 Ridgeline.
If Honda has any major faults, it's not listening to customer feedback and implementation of change in new model years, until a total refresh is ordered, and that doesn't happen very often.
I say this as compared to other manufacturers , not as a jab.
The things that are obviously needing updated , some simple, some not, for the Ridgeline, "IMO" would be the infotainment system size, should go up to 12" which is kind of a new standard most other places, but PLEASE Honda leave it IN THE DASH, don't stick it on top of the dash. The tired coping of Tesla's tablet screen, is not what needs to be in vehicles.
The inclusion in the BE , of a 360 camera system, with the back up camera no longer having static lines would be great.
And finally, yes I'll say this and many won't agree, that's okay, Honda MUST develop and install a simpler V6 Hybrid Engine system and put it in the Ridgeline ! Don't copy Toyota and their "IMO", failure 4 cyl turbo hybrid IFarceMax Engine.
Leave the Reliability of a V6, get rid of all the cylinder deactivation junk, Don't add a turbo, but do add an Hybrid system with your new solid state Batteries, for the extra power and torque the Hybrid can provide. Also the fuel economy needs to go up to over 30 MPG minimum, again not like Toyota where their hybrid package gives you a whopping ONE more MPG from their outgoing 6cyl.
An electric motor inline with the transmission (9 speed) isn't that difficult, and would do all the above, along with increasing towing capacity. While I'm not an engineer, I just play one at home, this all seems very doable, as other manufacturers have gone there years ago.
Honda, just needs to get it done. I'm not getting any younger, and my current vehicle won't last forever, and I'm desperately wanting to get a new Ridgeline, as it's almost the perfect truck for my needs, but I'm not getting a 2025, if they do make some improvements on the 26, so I'll wait and see. If Honda just keeps things the same in 26 again, I'm watching 3 BE s at dealerships for closeout sales.

That is a lot of dreaming:D

For my truck concerns:
Had to ride smooth and quiet, SUV-Like. Comfort and Tech!!
GAWR/Load-Capacity has to be over 1200lb.
Has to be a mid-size or compact.

Ford Maverick would be great for what I haul but not for comfort rides, distance, or enjoyment.
Ranger Raptor would be great. Test drove, found it to be very nice in all except for price. Worth considering!!!
Standard Ford Ranger is too truck-like. Lacks in comfort.
Toyota Tacoma are now good except for high price and only a 4-cylinder. Best resale!!!
Nissan Frontier is good except for bad resale value and old tech. Bargain prices!!!

So if Honda screws up with new powertrains and/or continues to raise prices, I might take the Ranger-Raptor for another test drive for my next truck.

I agree, Honda does have a habit of being slow. They sell way more Pilots and Passports than Ridgelines, so I'm not surprised that we'll have to wait another year or two. My '24 TS is serving me well for the time being, plus it's paid for, so I can wait.
