@Ironwood Nice write up. Looking forward to seeing (hearing) the video, but I do believe @Jonb is correct, running premium will awaken the engine some more.

Unsure if you want to sell the parts removed, but check out this thread: WTB 06-08 J-pipe OEM

No AWD Dyno necessary, FWD after 18mph...

Why bother baseline, we should be able to trust the manufacturer data?

I agree, once the 3.7 IM and throttle body have been installed I’ll look into a dyno run
I have only seen one or two dyno pulls on the ROC, always will love to see another!
Not really. Comparing results from one dyno to the next is problematic. Different dynos will give different results.

This will be particularly problematic with mods that produce at most modest gains. . .
Yes but still better than nothing. :nerd:
I believe it was on ROC, a long time ago, I read a post saying that when the ECU sees the front wheels spin, but the rears stay put, it makes alterations to the engine output. Is that true?
No when @dopes6070 took his to BISI’s Shop (Bisimoto’s shop in Ontario, California) they have to pull the prop shaft, and it’s a crazy FWD drive from there.

It is in this thread: Bob's 3.7L M90 Supercharged Build

Interesting. I have seen a couple of Bisi's tuning skills on YouTube through varied channels and dude knows his stuff really really well. I wonder if his tuning, with pulling the propeller shaft, is calibrated primarily on data from the front wheels.
It is also sad that he has 1000hp+ J series, but aside from valve springs and the overly expensive canshafts, there is nothing off-the-shelf for the motor from Bisimoto.
:nerd: See update above!
