I am towing a 21 foot camper but my mirrors cannot be adjusted enough to see and park safely. Would anyone know where I could find a pair of extension mirrors that would fit my 2022 Ridgeline? I have tried many but unsuccessful.

Fwiw, I have small round convex mirrors mounted in the upper/outer corner of the side-view mirrors, which help to expand the field of view. I’m not saying this is a solution, but I do find them helpful especially when towing.

I also like the rear view camera. But I have a bit of trouble with depth perception: objects in the camera seem quite a bit further away than they really are. I suppose this has to do with the camera and lens, so YMMV. I still like mirrors, and have been quite pleased with my Milenco MIL-2899-Aero-3's. Once initially installed and adjusted, they remove and re-install easily, without re-adjustment. The only issue is that you need to turn off the "mirror tilt when in reverse" feature when these are installed.

Keep trying is all I can say. You may find some leads on dedicated RV forums. Many states require tow mirrors that can "see" down the entire length of the trailer and to a specified distance behind the trailer. A rear mounted camera doesn't satisfy this requirement. Rear mounted cameras don't show where your trailer tires are tracking nor does it show evidence of a flat trailer tire etc.

From what I've seen, the universal clip on ones are hit or miss with the Ridgeline. Some people have better luck using the designs that use straps as they hold on more securely. The straps will hinder your view in the regular mirror but it's not that big of a deal while towing because you'll be using the extended mirrors.

Good luck to you (y)

We’ve really come to like the rear view camera. On newer trailers that are already equipped for camera mounting, installation is quick and easy. And camera systems can be purchased for the price of higher quality extension mirrors, without the hassle of installing and removing every time you latch on to the trailer.
