LOL... HI Siouxsie.. I didn't see you end with your name, sorry... maybe one for the passenger (I only say, because I'm always lectured) :)

Maybe you need this window decal!!!
View attachment 456674

Congrats on the purchase.
Looks like my tat.........

Would look awesome on the front grill!

Other than splash guards, even that is debatable (Weathertech), I would skip most Honda accessories. I've had two Ridgelines, one with a Honda bed cover, and now my roll up cover. Both leak, but mine is cheaper with a better warranty. Same with all-weather floor mats, you can save money and get more of the floor covered.

I had a shop around and found this store - College HIlls Honda - to have Ridgeline accessories priced below what the typical Honda main dealers are asking and including the Honda Dream Shop. I saved over $300 compared to regular Honda accessory (non installed) prices.

Btw - and I only discovered this today - Collge Hilla Honda have a great Youtube channel with lots of 'how to' vidoes installing Honda accessories. I am not linked to them in any way but I am really impressed with their dedication to detail. All their accessories listed on their online store have PDF install instructions, too.

Here is what I bought and how much I paid. I will be getting the Honda OEM tonneau cover from the dealer who sold me my Risgeline, they gacve me a good discount on the cover and I will install it myself.

All Season Floor Mats
$139.00

Front Splash Guards
$47.76

Rear Splash Guards
$47.76

Towing Kit
$172.68

Body Side Moldings
$183.60

In-Cabin Cargo Tray
$37.56

Bed Cargo Net
$95.52

In-Bed Cargo Tray
$44.16

2" Towing Ball
$20.

1"7/8 Towing Ball
$20.76

Best wishes

Curious, at the point you add a Topper and bedrug, don't you now basically have a pilot?
You cannot put half a yard of compost or whatever in a Pilot and then simply hose it out afterward. You cannot put a couple of muddy dogs in a Pilot and then simply hose it out afterward; not to mention a dog that has been skunked...

Ok, after my initial comment, I'll contribute to this thread.

Within a short time after a 2019 purchase I installed the OEM rear seat cover (to proactively prevent dog damage), SofTopper (to keep things dry during a move), SS ball & SS mount (doesn't get rusty), BedRug (comfort my 73 year old knee and reduce cargo slipping), OEM cargo net, Tekonsha brake controller and full size OEM alloy spare. My new '24 BE has the same items too so I guess I like what I did the first time around. I did get the OEM tonneau on the '24 which when I'm on roadtrips will be replace with the SofTopper for camping purposes.

How dry was it under the Softopper?

Can you help me with thiis, please?

Do you know of an online store that:

* stocks the OEM tonneau cover for a 2025 Ridgeline part # 08Z07T6Z101F (I assume this will fit the 2025, it fits the 2024)
and
* is below $1,000
and
* are doing free shipping or very low cost IE below $100

I've done extensive searches online and can only find covers local to me that are at full price ~$1200 and pick up only, or non local covers on sale but pick up only or on sale but charging crazy shipping EG $600 (seriously)

If you can help I'd appreciate it! Thank you,

Siouxsie

Dealers don't like to ship them now, so the shipping fee is high. My 2017's was shipped and it arrived in a destroyed box and dented... it was a hassle to have replaced. Your best bet is to find the best price from a Honda Dealer online, then go to your local dealer and ask if they can price match. It helps if you buy something else and make friends with the staff.

It's time consuming but here are the dealers that offer parts online that I know of. They all vary widely with the same part number. (for example Ed Martin Acura has it within your budget)

Hi,

Thank you so much.

So here's an update -

I phoned the dealer that I am buying my truck from and asked if he would do a price match. He said he would but it had to be local IE somewhere within a few hours. Otherwise it would be competitor's price + their shipping.

Bottom line - he said because I was buying a new vehicle from them that I would get 15% off. So he offered me the cover for $1080 including VA sales tax. Usual price is $1,200 before tax. So I'm happy with that deal. plus I don't have to worry about shipping. I will order one closer to when my truck arrives.

Thanks & best wishes

No issues on a daily basis, some leakage when going through the auto carwash. SofTopper does a good job in the design of their topper for water intrusion but the topper does allow a lot of dust on gravel road.
Thank you.
I’m trying to decide if I need / how to cover the bed.
I prefer van open bed, unless I’m headed out camping.
I feel like tonneau would be too limiting, and I’m not sure I want to deal with a hard cap all the time.

Another soft top to consider is the Flated brand.

Floor Jacks

I'm thinking of getting a new floor jack to use on both my cfar for my car and also also my Ridgeline truck.

The one I'm looking at lifts to 20".

Do you know if this will be sufficient to get the Ridgeline's wheels off the ground or should I get a jack with a higher lift?

Thanks, best wishes

Siouxsie

Floor jacks can be a very useful tool indeed and should be used with jack stands. What ever one you get, get the lightest one that does the job. Floor jacks are notoriously awkward to use.

My local dealer gave me the same price $1080 out the door, took me a few tries to get them to budge off their 1199 list price. The best I could do from the lowest priced online dealers (after shipping) was 1060, so I was ok with 1080 from local dealer - and they had it for pick up the next day.
