Mine are

$14 each. I am cutting the plugs off the end other than the main harness and replacing with deutche connectors. And building g my own harness from there. The harness I have the harness end plug to a fuse and then to 2 powered terminals and only 18” or so long.

the outside box was genuine Honda and the harness is but it’s a Chinese label and tags.

The fuse is a 2 amp fuse and I measured 1.1 amps with 2 led footwells from a VW Tiguan and 2 led light pods for outside. They are just decent wheel well pods. Bright but compact. I have everything so I fitted the owns price was just a bit too much.

THIS IS MY ADVICE, I CAN TALK THE WAY I AM ABOUT TO BECAUSE I HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH A SIMILAR SYSTEM INSTALLED BY ME ON MY RIDGLINE 2021, EVERYTHING WORKS FINE EXCEPT FOR THE LIGHT LEDS, THEY ARE GARBAGE!!, I HAD TO TAKE MY TRUCK TO THE DEALER AROUND 6 TIMES JUST TO REPLACE THE BURNED OUT LEDS (COVERED BY THE WARRANTY) BUT IT WAS A REAL PAIN, I HAVE A FEW VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE ABOUT THAT,, MY SOLUTION: REPLACED THE LIGHT LED FOR OZNIUM, ALMOST YEAR AND A HALF AND ONLY i HAVE 2 LEDS OUT. ALSO LOOKS BETTER AND CHEAPER. ALL OEM.

Why I’m using totally sealed led pods I was given. I had heard the same about the Honda ones

I have had one of the OEM Honda LEDs fail. The dealer gave me a warranty replacement LED and I self-installed it. It took about one minute to do.
NOT KIDDING IN LESS THAN 3 MONTHS 6 OR 7 FAIL, THEY WILL REPLACE IT UNDER THE WARRANTY BUT IT IS A PAIN TO GO EVERY 2 OR 3 WEEKS FOR THAT, AND IF YOU BUY THE PUDDLE LIGHTS IT COSTS A MINI FORTUNE, WITH THE PRICE OF 1 I DID PAY FOR MORE THAN 6 OZNIUM BOLTS. CHECK ONE OF MY VIDEOS AND SEE MY BAD EXPERIENCE AT THE DEALER,

this is what I am using. Lots of crawler buddies like them. Build some stainless tabs to mount them centered under each door.

Did you ever get around to wiring it up?

Waiting on some shop space. And time to do it. Most likely be this spring. We are a couple bodies short at the shop I’m at and I’m busting butt and going home too tired to work on my stuff.

do you happen to have a wiring diagram. I am gonna try two routes. I have some leds I ran under the truck. Do those deutsch connectors you mentioned before connect to the oem connector in the dash since they are essentially positive and negative? Or should I order the sill harness you mentioned and cut the white plug off and connect them to my strip and then plug them into the oem plug in the dash?

I’ll plug into the factory harness under the dash on each side. Using the Deutsche connectors where I’ll adapt to my own wiring. There is a fuse on the factory harness part I want to retain so it will hook to the ends of the harness that would usually plug into the door sills and under lights if we go the oem way. I just wanted a clean oem looking plug. And one plug has two wires and is weather sealed.

3 months after installing my lights, 1 of 6 is flickering. That didn't take long. Will the dealership replace it under warranty even if I self installed? I can't imagine they know if I bought it installed or self installed.

I realize this is an old post, but wondering if you ever modified the harness with your own connectors. If so, which wire is the hot?
