One of the 'dead' lights is working fine now, haha. Back to just 1 failure. I wonder if it's a poor connection and I will just need to enhance that. Warmer weather is coming and I will dig in.

For those who have done this.... Any idea what the part number is for these harness?

Thanks but I don't need the whole kit just the harness. I'm hoping it's on the harness itself which is why I asked the question to those who's done this and bought the entire kit.

I bought just the harnesses so that I could use my own lights. Part number is 08V27-TG7-10030. They are expensive but I really wanted that OEM style angled grommet where the wires go through the floorboard. I figured if I try a DIY, the wires would not hold up.

Exactly the same reason why I asked. Thank you very much! Just curious what lights did you use.

Kind of funny but I don’t even have a Ridgeline yet. I was all set to buy a 2020 and then I saw what the 2021 will look like. Now I am just waiting for a RTL-E to be available in my area.

Anyway, I have used these for the same purpose in other vehicles and they are great. Almost entirely flush mounted, bright, and they are completely waterproof. I always go with 11mm:

Since you bought it, can you send me a pic of it please.

I just bought a set of these lights. Knowing it may not work with my Rommik running boards. I spent time thinking about McGyver ways to make it work but nothing.
Would anybody want to buy them from me?
Never used, installed or tested. All I've done is just install the LED bulbs into their bracket/housing and connected them to the wire harness (which can all be undone).

So 2 weeks into actual snow up here, I've now had 4 lights fail. Anyone else have this problem?
Following up, I've got two that flicker now. One of them occasionally doesn't light up, probably on its way out. The weather has been nasty but I would expect a product designed for this location could take it.
I hate to add to this, but after 6 months of being installed, I noticed this morning that my front light on the drivers side wasn't working. I walked around to the other side, which I don't see often, and 1 of those lights is out as well. I just looked a month ago when @daktruckie99 had his issues, and all were functioning. Ill do some investigating this weekend, and report back. I'm pretty disappointed.

Sorry to hear those puddle lights have become more of a problem.

If it's actually an issue with the puddle lights itself, wouldn't that be under the Honda 12 month warranty????

In theory yes, but I presume the situation gets complicated because we self installed and it's not an official accessory until the 2021 model year.

To me it's not worth the hassle, I will replace the lights with something more reliable and reuse the factory harness.

Agreed. I haven't even inspected mine yet, but I am already eyeing these while I'm at work. Metal housing, wide beam, specs seem really bright, and I'm guessing actually waterproof, not Honda waterproof... Kinda pricey, but Id rather go with something quality that will last, than run into these issues again.
