This week:
1. Installed OEM running boards.
2. Installed after market LED high beams (impressed with the light output on these).
3. Installed LED closet motion sensor light in the trunk.
4. Touched up a tiny scratch on the tail gate. :(
5. Polished the hood and buffed with Bead Maker (trying this out as a quick detailer)
6. Installed the rubber mat thingies in all the cubbies and door handles.

Already did the Maxpider mats and roll up bed cover. Think I'm getting to the end of things to add. Maybe window vents next. 🤷‍♂️

Installed this week:
  • VIOFO A229 dual channel dash cam
  • Interior LED lighting
  • Trunk bed liner
  • Glovebox damper
  • NuShield screen protector
  • Clay barred the entire vehicle
On the agenda for next week:
  • Window tinting
  • PPF for the hood, mirrors, and door cups
  • Ceramic coating
  • Center console Acura lens lighting upgrade

how hard was the dampener to install? I replaced the glovebox on the pilot and just took out the dampener so I could put it in the RL.

It is not difficult at all. Just remove the glovebox, hook the cable (string) to the appropriate place on the glovebox, and mount the dampener with the screw. You have to attach the string first, so you can pull on the dampener and secure it with the screw.

I forgot about this mod; meant to do this to my 2017. What's the part # again?

I included the part # for the screw and the Acura clear lens upgrade for the center console

do you have to remove the trim and glovebox or just drop the glovebox down?

You have to remove the entire glovebox from the vehicle, so yes, you have to remove the trim. The glovebox lighting can be changed at the same time, if you like blue or some other color.

I ordered those @F6Hawk, but have not installed them yet.
Whatchoo waitin' for, Willis?!? It's a 10-minute job. (Unlike MANY of my simple auto mechanic tasks that go from 30 minutes to 23.9 hours as quickly as I can lose a screw or strip a bolt!)

Well I bought the 2022 RL in June and finally had cause to use it as a truck....it didn't disappoint and the shallow, sorta short truck bed is no issue with me. View attachment 430278
I like the extension set up you have. Is it something you made (or had made)? Looks like just some square steel tubing sized to fit the trailer hitch. Like what looks like adjustable "T" height with the pin. If it is something sold online appreciate any info/link.

I am waiting for my youngest son with the long fingers to do the dirty work. Last time we did this, I remember it was a tight space on the driver's side.

Meh, it's not all that bad, I promise. If you JUST DO IT, you will be happy!
