Super nice wheels - I assume you got these new. Were these wheels 'plug and play' or were modifications necessary to install. Please provide info on cost and installation.

 

Hello Mickiemac73. They are almost new. They came off of a 2024 Pilot with 10 miles on it. They were almost "plug and play". The original rigeline wheels have a +45 wheel offset while the Pilot wheels have a +50 offset. When I got the new wheels I installed one without the tire to check for fit. There was interference with the front brake caliper. So after taking some measurements, I realized I needed 5mm spacers for the front wheels only. The back has lots of clearance. So I special ordered two 5mm spacers from BORA ($95) hub and lug centric- Don't go cheap when it comes to spacers. That was exactly what was needed with 7 full turns of the lug nut. Some folks don't like spacers but IMO they are safe if you get the right ones using proper guidelines. Anyway, besides that, everything went smoothly for the install. I used the original TPMS sensors ( no need to reprogram) and original tires. Easy peasy! The wheels were $800 for all four. $160 for tire swap at the tire shop. Hope I answered all your questions. I’m not a huge fan of the dark wheels either. And yes I agree they add a bit more class. Maybe watch and wait on eBay or FB marketplace without the tires for cost savings. Good luck!

Those do look really nice on your Ridgeline! I actually prefer the darker wheels to the Sparkle Silver wheels that came on my 2024 RTL. Thinking about getting DupliColor removable wheel paint to darken them.

Great combo. Why is it Honda can make nice looking wheels but can never figure out what vehicle to put them on?

 

I agree. As soon as saw those wheels on the pilot, I knew it was the wheel I was looking for. The pacific pewter is dark and with the new bright wheels, the truck pops out IMO. I think it really looks sharp now.

Those wheels really dress up your truck. Very nice.

 

I've never seen that Pewter color in the wild but looks great in photos. And those have to be some of my favorite wheels on an RL. Nice!
