Hey all,

I just put a Jsport 1.5 inch lift on my 2021 Honda Ridgeline. I also went to a 265/60/18 cooper discover AT3. Overall love the ride and look of the finished product.
As you can see from the pictures I gained 1.5 inches in the rear and 2 inches in the front.
Nice looking ridgeline there!! how much did you pay for installing the lift kit? thanks

Nice. Readers should note that the larger tires alone raised the truck about 0.5" front and rear. Adjusting headlight aim after lifting is highly recommended unless a person likes to be frequently flashed by oncoming vehicles.

I'm running Discoverer AT3 4S tires on my lifted RL and they are quiet now but the real test will come when they are worn. Many folks complain about noticeably increased road noise when AT tires reach the halfway point of tread wear.

Love the look. Do you rub on full lock as my dealer is saying Jsport recommends 255/60/18 as you will rub with the size you have?

I'm interested to hear his answer. I think Jsport may recommend 255/60R18 with their lifts because they know that some 265/60R18 AT tires will rub due to wider aggressive tread widths. Stock or aftermarket wheels can also make a difference in rubbing. A first-hand report from a ROCer is priceless!

I emailed them and this is their reply:

Hi Marciano,

We run 265/ 60/ R18 MAXXIS Razr AT’s on our Ridgeline with a slight rub but it’s nothing that bothers us. If you want zero rub, step down to 255/ 60/ R18

Sincerely,

The Jsport Team
I asked how bad and they replied on full lock driveway transition.

Interesting. I know that when Jsport first offered their leveling kit with custom wheels and tires, they were configured with "proprietary" 17-inch XD wheels and 245/70R17 Nitto Terra Grappler tires. Those Nittos were spec'd at 30.3" in diameter which is slightly smaller than industry standard. That's also slightly smaller in diameter and narrower in width than the 265/60R18 tires that sometimes rub. Anyway, I suspect those 245/70R17 Nittos allowed Jsport to avoid the rubbing issue, despite the 1.5" front lift.

I want to avoid rubbing issues and be able to run low-clearance cable chains on the front wheels of my RL, so for me, there's even less room for error when it comes to wheel well rub.

Since you have had this set up for a while now have you noticed any tire rub? And how does the ride compare to before?

1.5" Traxxx in the front...I think a lift actually makes tire clearance worse with the wheel well shape on the RL.
Just wanted to do I quick check in since some time has gone by. Any issues or still all good?
all is well. Got over 15,000 miles and rotated around 8k. About die again but damn cold right now.
No regrets. I drove one without a lift and it brake dived compared to having it lifted/leveled out.
