Hello all. Been looking for a set of rims for the upcoming winter. Saw a set of G2 RL rims and tires for sale at not to bad of a price. Would eveything (rim, tire, TPS) all work on my G1 RL?
Thank You

Basically YES

RIM & TIRE Absolutly no problem, TPMS unsure.

I don't know if the rim offset is the same but I do know the TPMS sensors are different. Despite being different, they may still operate at the same frequently and use the same ID system; so they may function properly. You'll never know until you try.

Here's an interesting article on the Gen1 TPMS system and how it works: http://www.moderntiredealer.com/article/724278/tpms-honda-pilot-and-ridgeline-2005-2016 If you can find some good information on the Gen2 Ridgeline or Gen3 Pilot, you can compare it to this article's information and make your own educated guess as to how best to proceed.

I'm very interested in knowing more about this. Attached is a picture of my Ridgeline I picked up this week and another picture of the Gen 2 wheels I have that I'd like to use. I wondering what I need to do about TPMS stuff as well. I'm not a car guy so could someone explain in plain English what I need to do.
