RIM & TIRE Absolutly no problem, TPMS unsure.

 

I know you've done it as I've seen your post. Were you able to use the Gen1 lugnuts? I have an appointment to put my Gen2 take off's on tomorrow morning, and finding mixed reviews regarding the lugs.

 

I don't know if the rim offset is the same but I do know the TPMS sensors are different. Despite being different, they may still operate at the same frequently and use the same ID system; so they may function properly. You'll never know until you try.

Found a set of takeoff 18" black addition wheels, and I'm thinking about putting my tires on them and putting them on my 2011 RTL.

I would transfer over my TPMS sensors, but I want to make sure about the offset.

 

The rims work fine on the 2011 RL. Have had mine on for a few weeks now. Just need new TPMS.

Did you try the gen 2 TPMS with your gen 1?
It didn't work?

 

Does anyone have additional pictures of the G2 rim on a G1?

I was considering this also as I am needing new tires, but the G2 set I found are the ones with the black center and "fingers" pointed out toward rim edge. I'd love to see a photo if possible.

 

I'm very interested in knowing more about this. Attached is a picture of my Ridgeline I picked up this week and another picture of the Gen 2 wheels I have that I'd like to use. I wondering what I need to do about TPMS stuff as well. I'm not a car guy so could someone explain in plain English what I need to do.
