My old 2007 with 270k is starting to need hospice. Still running but I had to get the cats replaced today. Trying get another year out of her. Really want the 2024 ridgeline to have an updated interior. Geez can we get an update from a spy site already!!!

There seem to be some on here that think the 2024 will just carry on the 2023 design. I'm in the camp of all being updated to the new Pilot design. Why would they saunter on with the old design and add a "Trailsport" model to the old body design for one year?

Yes i've looked extensively at the pilot. I dig it. But if history is any indicator of the future then they'll screw something up about the ridgeline. It's the outcast. I surely hope they don't just carry over this year.

All we have to go on are claims from people who claim to work at Honda or know someone that does and the fact that the first generation Ridgeline lived for 9 model years.

Those three things suggest an all-new Ridgeline for the 2026 model year.

Sitting in relatively the same boat as the OP. My 07 isn't anywhere near hospice, but it's certainly got some arthritis (random creaks and squeaks) and cancer (rust on the rockers and fender wells) forming. The under side of the truck has held up well enough for spending the last 13 years of its life in a northern climate, but I'm getting to the point where I'll need to send her off to either her next adventure or final resting place. I haven't had the gas tank strap recall done yet, so that could very well make the decision for me. Nonetheless, I'll likely end up in a new '23 this summer sometime. I'm actually hoping the market gets a little flooded with new ones and Honda does bring out a redesigned '24 so there's the potential for a "clearance event" for the '23's. We'll see...

I'm praying for a full redesign for Ridgeline.
With expected change of living situation I not excited about. This will afford me a new vehicle. The curret 2007 Ridgeline in family not going anywhere. This would be eventual replacement for my low mileage Acura 3.2 TL.
My older sibling is owner of Ridgeline I was primary driver first 2 and half years of ownershp. I picked the truck out fixed it they way I liked. I put 5,000 miles first years going to Ridgeline meet. Also took to Dealership service or took sister to pick it up.
We use to switch vehicles when I needed to go on vacation. Many of the accessories I purchased. The Bed Mat, prior seat covers,Hood window visors, underseat storage tray cargo net.
So a new Rigeline would be my new vehicle.
I like Pilot don't want one but know Ridgeline will get many like features.

So just hope Honda doesn't mess up features on redesign Ridgeline.
Like No Ventilated Seats on US version.
Feature some people want. The color combination like Pilot Elite offers Brown seating.
Pilot ELITE should be equal to Ridgeline RTL-E

If Honda released a Ridgeline with saddle brown leather seating, I'd go buy it instantly without a second thought. I'm so darn tired of the same old black and grey leather. If I'm not mistaken, this leather option is only available on the Pilot Elite and only if you get a black, grey, or white exterior. The brown interior with a red or blue exterior is SHARP.

Yes Brown interior only on Elite.
White exterior and Modern Steel have Brown interior. I was looking at Pilot in White Diamond Pearl color. That's premium paint so extra.

Probably Roger is best for this, but here is my lame understanding:

Honda makes vehicles... but not to a customers specific order. Instead, their marketing dept tells the factory what to make (trim levels and options based on popularity); then the dealers get notice for that months production via the APEX system. Dealers pick from that "APEX list" which vehicles they want, but it's limited to the dealers allocation amount (example, a dealer might be allowed five Ridgelines per month; they select 5 from the APEX... but may not get those specific 5 they requested). Also the APEX shows other dealer inventories, and allows dealers to swap vehicles.

The APEX list comes out once per month, around the 12th.

Looking forward to the '24 announcement just for clarity's sake. If they update the styling a bit before a 3rd gen comes out in '25 or '26, great. If they don't touch it YET AGAIN for a fourth consecutive model year, at least I'll know I can search for a 21+ this coming spring when it's time to replace the old 07.

As much as I've loved my G1 for many years, she's gone way downhill due to rust just in the last year. The rockers, frame rails, and other parts underneath are not great. There's issues with the evap emissions system that I haven't been able to fully triage, just had to replace tie rods and end links, and now the upper strut braces and bearings are on their way out. It also sputtered and had trouble starting for the first time ever this week. Whether that's related to the evap system problems, who knows? But it's concerning. "They" say it's cheaper to keep 'er, but I don't think that's going to be the case here. I'm ready for a vehicle with more modern features, better fuel mileage, and one that I don't have to constantly worry about. But I digress. This thing has been the best vehicle I've ever owned without question and I really can't complain when she's over 17 years old and just shy of 200k miles.

This is what I'm looking for too.

I have an '18 accord that I'm looking to trade in, and when it was introduced it had the best infotainment and advanced safety features available at that time. If I were to buy a '23 Ridgeline, it seems like I'd be taking a step backwards on the infotainment and maybe a lateral move on the advanced safety features.

If the '24 Ridgeline is the same as the '23 or '22 I might as well try to find one used with low miles.

I owned an ‘08, a ‘17, and currently a ‘20 RTL. Waiting for the ‘24 to arrive. Really looking forward to the infotainment and design changes. Starting to see some deals on ‘23 models. That’s likely what I’ll end up doing. Honda design is what it is. Hyundai just released the new Santa Fe preview. OMG - they are nailing the style game. Just don’t want a vehicle that will be in the shop regularly. Mine has never left me stranded but this round I’ve had mirror issues, back seat latch issues, b pillar issues, auto start issues, and now brake issues. All free fixes but annoying on a vehicle that’s been on the street this long. Will stay loyal as long as I can find a dealer in Florida (Tampa) who will deal.

Marketing cadence.

Honda has already announced the 2024 Civic, CR-V, HR-V, Odyssey, and Pilot.

The 2024 Accord, Passport, and Ridgeline have not been announced yet.

There are still 3-1/2 months left this year.

It's better to space out new model announcements even if there are few to no changes than it is to announce everything all at once. Fewer announcements farther apart is better than an avalanche of news only one per year.

Given the 0.9% financing offers on the RL, maybe Honda is waiting for some 2023 MY inventory to clear prior to announcing the 2024 model. Has anyone seen a 2023 manufactured after 6/23? Several dealers will include a picture of the VIN sticker with on line pics. VINs ending in the 45xxx have 6/23 listed as the MFG date but haven’t seen any July builds.
Update: Found a listing for a Sport VIN 46xxx with a 07/23 build date.

I've already decided I'm going 2023/2024 Pilot Elite . What ever year they calling in October.
I just spent money to get my old 2000Acura 3.2 TL in road driving condition. I left it at shop where I use to live. I moved 70 miles away. It's ready new front /rear brakes tires fluids. So once get new license registration in another state I can hopefully make move for new vehicle.
They played around with Ridgeline a TrailSport doesn't trim do anything for me.
As long as we keep the 2007 Ridgeline up and running. We're good no need for pickup truck.
It's actually on the way back from yearly trip to Myrtle Beach SC from Southern Maryland.
The new Pilot will take some of the mileage off it as a family vehicle.

Just got back from trip.
So according to this for Ridgeline I'm glad didn't put all my eggs in one basket.
I did my homework on 2023 Pilot Elite

All these frame based Toyota off-road SUVs like 4 Runner, Prado and Land Cruiser belong to a very specific class and have very to none competition and their buyers don't want any new fancy technology. The new Prado with turbo 4 and Land Cruiser with turbo 6 received a very cold welcome in 4x4 worldwide and even in the US.
And after all, Honda should be better than Toyota :) and should update their vehicles much quicker. :)
