It is soooooo tempting to buy the Aries brushguard but I have PM'ed several members from this board and they have said that they have had both fitment and rust problems with this unit. One person said he literally had to refinish the entire unit before intalling it.

I have been pestering the people over at Polar Bear Accessories about their new brush guard. They are rolling out a brush guard at the end of the month. They have promised me unit #1. Rest assured, the day that I get it, I will be taking the day off to install it and will give a full report including pics. It will be slightly more expensive than the Aries guard but from what I understand, Polar Bear products are extremely rust resistant. I live in Ohio where there is more salt on the road than on a large order of McDonald's french fries for 3 or 4 months out of the year so I need the extra protection.

I do love the look of the brush guard though.

Here a couple of my own mods. I designed and fabricated the light bar myself. It is totally bolt on and requires no drilling or cutting on the vehicle. The tonneau cover is my design and fabrication as well. Not 100% waterproof but I would call it 99% waterproof. All decals are by LadyRidge.

 

My only real upgrades is a set of high end fog lamps...

Theres alot more to come, I have plans to add a bull bar in the coming weeks

 

My mods so far are chromed stock wheels and custom dual exhausts with stainless tips. These peek out of the rear quarter panels.

Here are my modifications . Roof rack ( part of lifestyle package of rack/bedextender/tow package deal ) window vent visors [ not too visible ] and my business symbol as a hood decal . ( done by LadyRidge of cdcgraphics.com ) Some day I hope to get a leer cap, then I will be done .
