.... and the local dealer had this used 2019 with 400 miles, so I bought it for $2,700. It's shorter than a Grom and easily fits in the bed with the tailgate up. The idea is when canoeing to leave the Monkey near the take out spot. Or when camping in general just throw the Monkey in the back. Anyone here also have a Monkey?

No, but it looks like fun. My purchasing of toys is quite limited these days. Got save for the kid's college fund. I'm still assuming there will be worthwhile places to go when it's time, but if not then maybe I'll have a toy fund to play with. :p

@Griso hoping to revive an old thread. My fiancé and I are seriously considering getting a couple of Monkeys. They just seem like so much fun! Do you have any pictures of yours in the bed? I'm assuming you have load it diagonally to close the tailgate. Do you think if you left the tailgate down you would be able to fit two in the bed side by side? We're envisioning taking road trips in the Ridge with the Monkeys in the back for local exploration once we reach our destination.

Appreciate any feedback!

Did you and your fiancé' (maybe wife now) get Monkey's?

Sorry I didn't reply, I didn't realize that even after posting or replying to a topic I need to hit "follow", it's not automatic.

I do not have any pics of it in the bed and actually I no longer have it. From Redeagle's image you can see it easily fits and I believe 2 would, possibly with one reversed.

You could use a Trunk Monkey to provide security for your Honda Monkey.
I seriously thought this thread was about the “Trunk Monkey”
