I just recently purchased my 3rd Ridgeline. I had looked at several other options for vehicles, particularly some luxury SUV’s. I really couldn’t find an option that really checked all of the boxes that were important for me so I bought another Ridgeline. I really liked the look of the Black Edition in the Radiant Red. I think the Radiant Red goes great with the BE red accented interior.

I had purchased my first Ridgeline back in 2006 when they first came out. We had owned Honda’s in the past and really liked their reliability. My first Ridgeline was actually the Ridgeline that the dealership had at the Minneapolis car show so it had many upgrades (RTLE-Nav moonroof, wheels, DVD player, 6 CD player hid behind the Nav Screen, roof rails etc) that I may not have added myself but they
were cool to have. I drove it for 10 years then purchased a 2017 Gen 2. I gave the 2006 to my son who drove it for 4 years while in college – he sold it and bought a 2022 Ridgeline. I drove my 2017 for 8 trouble free years and put 80K miles on it. I was able to get nearly $4000 off MSRP on the new BE and they gave me $20,400 for my 2017 on trade. Honda also was offering 1.99% financing. Overall it is hard to beat the ride, reliability and cost of ownership. I don’t know if I will drive this one as long as the others but so far I like the looks and drive of the Ridge.

I'm on my 3rd as well...a 24 ,blk/white edition...I love the new ceramic coatings and how easy she is to keep clean...with the exception of a moderately severe warranty issue the first week, she has been flawless. My nearest dealer is distant enough to make the free oil changes etc a wash for me, except for the manual labor to crawl underneath...still I'm able at 73 to keep performing my own service, so I guess the next oil change is on me.

I like the BE red! I like my ‘22 Sonic gray BE but like red a bit better.

I recognize that south metro lake in the background! We go kayaking there, nice quiet lake with no gas motors allowed. Beach, golfing, camping, paths, great little lake. We’re in Lakeville.
I probably have seen your Ridge around. I was between the Sonic Gray and red. Both are good options.

My Honda ownership experience is somewhat similar to yours with the exception that I switch vehicles a lot. I bought the 2006 Ridgeline in 2005 and drove it for nine years without a single issue. Today I traded my 2023 Passport Trailsport for a 2025 BE in radiant white pearl. The dealer discounted the BE $4800 and I got 1.99% financing for 3 years.
In between I owned a Tundra, GX 470, Subaru Outback, Volvo XCountry, 4Runner TRD Pro, and Tacoma TRD Sport. I regret letting go of the 4Runner but after driving the new model with the turbo4 and pricing out used models, I decided to do the practical thing, take advantage of the promotions and discounts and purchase another Ridgeline with the smooth V6 and 9-speed transmission.
