I just recently purchased my 3rd Ridgeline. I had looked at several other options for vehicles, particularly some luxury SUV’s. I really couldn’t find an option that really checked all of the boxes that were important for me so I bought another Ridgeline. I really liked the look of the Black Edition in the Radiant Red. I think the Radiant Red goes great with the BE red accented interior.
I had purchased my first Ridgeline back in 2006 when they first came out. We had owned Honda’s in the past and really liked their reliability. My first Ridgeline was actually the Ridgeline that the dealership had at the Minneapolis car show so it had many upgrades (RTLE-Nav moonroof, wheels, DVD player, 6 CD player hid behind the Nav Screen, roof rails etc) that I may not have added myself but they
were cool to have. I drove it for 10 years then purchased a 2017 Gen 2. I gave the 2006 to my son who drove it for 4 years while in college – he sold it and bought a 2022 Ridgeline. I drove my 2017 for 8 trouble free years and put 80K miles on it. I was able to get nearly $4000 off MSRP on the new BE and they gave me $20,400 for my 2017 on trade. Honda also was offering 1.99% financing. Overall it is hard to beat the ride, reliability and cost of ownership. I don’t know if I will drive this one as long as the others but so far I like the looks and drive of the Ridge.
