What are these for?

 

I have 1, 4, and 5. I would definitely get the All Weather Floor Mats and Bed Trunk Carpet again. The Bed Trunk Dividers are sometimes helpful, but I think I wind up removing them more than using them to fit long or big things in the trunk. I would add Tonneau Cover, Mud Guards and Side Steps to my list. I never felt the need for Window Vent Visors. I have no idea what Seat Drop-Stop's are.

 

Drop-stop's are those neoprene seat gap-filler's so items don't fall between your center console and seats

 

Simple solution, rolled up microfiber towel. Works great and I can take them out to wash them when they get dirty.

Number 1, all weather floor matts should really be Summer floor mats, to be displaced to Winter floor mats.

Numbers 2 through 5 are truly personal choice I would avoid.
Here’s my list to tear apart:
A. Hood protector. There are just too many stones on the road that get flung up creating stone chips.
B. OEM colour~coded Body Side mouldings. No matter how far away you park from the rabble, invariably some schlub parks right next to you & opens his door too close. This is a must have.
C. Rear Bumper that fits into the trailer hitch. Invariably you will back into something or some schmuck will back into you. $5500.00 damage to my RL when this mini van driver backed into my RL. Get the biggest, beefiest one you can stand. You’ll thank me for it later.
D. 2012-2014 Ford Focus Sunscreen reflector. The Focus one fits, & fills the RL windshield almost perfectly.

Decent all weather floormats (not Honda), a bed cover of some type, tinted windows. I haven't used window visors in 40 years.

 

I was looking at the weather tech mats but ended up with the Honda mats. I've had the Weather Tech in all my previous truck, so was partial to them, but honestly the Honda seems as good as those, so I'm not disappointed.

 

Mine:

2. Idlestopper
3. Quality LED high beams
4. A bed cover
5. Glove box organizer

 

What’s and idlestopper?

 

Hmmm... Seat Drop-Stop's... I need to look into those. I lose many a candy and snack down that space!

Is it acceptable to wear grey wool socks with Birkenstocks?

As long as it's wool, its' good to go! Stays warm even when wet.

Yes, I could never put something like that on my truck. I couldn't bear looking at that every day, let alone the thought of all those people laughing at my truck behind my back .

Best accessories:

• Coverking seat covers (if you're into activities that leave you wet and dirty!)
• Bedrug
• Chrome delete / debadge (not sure that is acutally an accessory, but biggest bang-for-the-buck improvement)

 

Tangotango99 - it's made by GoRhino. Purchased off Amazon. There are others like Bully, but I liked this one. I had it sprayed with Line-X so it'll never rust out.
And it looks better in person Oddball. I did think it would be big and obnoxious, and I'm sure many keep there rear end cleaner. But I know too many people that have been rear ended in this large city I live in, so I'll live with the jokes...

 

I bought a 3” drop trailer hitch , flipped it upside down (now 3” up) and flipped the ball.

 

Answering your question, my thoughts on your top 5:
Window visors - are usually for smokers, hate them.
Trunk dividers - I organize differently and have no need.
Bed carpet - wouldn't work for me, I use my bed too often for home improvement stuff.
Stop dropseat thingies - I'm intrigued.
All weather mats - absolutely!

And due to idiot thieves and today's supply line issues, the nolo cat guard plates. Normally this wouldn't be on the list, but people suck

Another vote for this, it fits so well that I forget it was an add-on. ProClip is pricey but it will outlast the vehicle and several phones.

 

I'd jump on the Proclip in a second, but it really looks like I'd have to modify it, as you can only see about 70% of your phone when driving. Is this true? The pictures they show never actually take from the driving position. Do you guys have a real world pic of it installed?

 

I really like the Proclip, but found it put my phone a little too far behind the wheel and held it leaning back too far causing reflections. I added their side extension and wedge to move and tilt the phone, now it’s perfect. I also use a magnetic attachment for my iPhone 13 Pro.

The 2 I like and weren't mentioned are the tray under the rear seat and a bed net.

My Ridgeline Top 5 Must-Have Accessories

1. All Weather Floor Mats - I use Husky Liners. Protect those carpets!
2. Skid Plates - I chose to do the front and rear differential plates from No Lo Designs, but there are other manufacturers. Protect that underside!
3. Audio Upgrade - I went nuts with this and love the results. YMMV. Warning, this can become a cascading project, so set goals and spending limits!
4. Small tote - I went with the Husky 5G Tote. I use this for storing ratcheting straps and bungee cords in the trunk. This fits perfectly between the trunk dividers.
5. Dash Cam - I chose the Viofo A129. Protect yourself on those roads!

I like number 5, how much trouble to run the wiring? is there shops that do the wiring?

 

Maybe in my Top 10, rather than Top 5, but would be worth the $10 next time around to get a steering wheel cover.
Attached is a pic of the top of my steering wheel - it's a 2006 RL, so has a few years on it, and with my 'one-handed on top of the steering wheel' driving style, it wore it out. I don't know the cost to try to replace or fix that if I go to sell it. I’ll go with the Floor Mats. Skip 2-5. The big must have is the BAK Revolver tonneau cover! I can’t count how many road trips to see the family or bringing beer back from the nation’s oldest brewery have made dry storage in the back a necessity.

 

I have the first 2, I am shopping for a bed mat, and I have never heard of seat drop-stops, not sure what that is.
