Hello, I just purchased an 06 RTS a couple weeks ago and it drives great but I am slightly concerned about a weird noise I get after being in reverse. If I start the truck, back up, and then go into drive, roughly 10-20 seconds later I hear a pop that sounds like someone threw a rock into the left rear wheel well of my truck. I have no idea what it could be. It was inspected before I bought it and nobody mentioned anything wrong with it, just wondering if someone else out there may also have experienced this. Like i said, it only happens if I go into drive, from being in reverse, and it happens once after 10-20 seconds of driving. If i start in drive I don't hear it. If I back into a spot and turn the truck off and go into park, I don't hear it when I start it and go into drive. It is strange

I'll bet what you're hearing is the ABS self-check that occurs after it's been sitting a while. It generally happens just before reaching 10 mph or so.
