I bought my Ridgeline in 2006 and always wanted to make some upgrades. I finally have the time and money. I have really neglected my baby for years. So I'm starting this so my upgrades and restorations I have done. Some diy stuff and some purchases.

This was the start. I bought the truck to lower it 2 inches.

Then I fixed the pealing Honda emblem on the drive side airbag. Used plasti dip for this. Before and after pictures.

After that I added some new 20s XO Sydney and Copper LTZ 275/45r20

I also added a small touches to the rim. I hated the XO center cap so I looked for black home ones. Found a prefect fit. Then I had the lugs painted black. I'll get them powered coated later.

Yesterday I went a head and plasti dip the grill. And the honda H.

Today I worked on the side steps. You can see how faded the look. I cleaned them and the put 4 coats each of plasti dip. I'll see about powder coating the later. I'll post the after pictures tomorrow when I have some daylight. Here's the before pictures.

Also upgraded my taillights. I went from 2009 all red taillights to some black aftermark ones I found on eBay. Before and after.

Here a picture of the side step with about 4 coats of plasti dip. The looks new and I'm happy with the results. Let's see how it holds up.

Nice. Good luck on the restoration. I think some rubber under coating or some roll on bed liner would have been perfect for the side steps.

Yeah that maybe my next step if this doesn't workout.

Added a backup camera this weekend. Took about 7 hours. Got the handle from my local dealership and the camera from amazon. Really like that it came out clean.

What HU did you install, or already have? Would like to see a bigger picture of the HU, looks interesting.

I installed sony xav ax100 HU. It?s worked well but it?s not the biggest HU available for the RL. I?ll get a better picture tomorrow.

Hi, Love what you have done with your truck. I was thinking about picking up the same H.U or the Sony xav ax 1000(usb in front). My question is do you have any problem using the knob since the stereo sits back on the Metra dash kit.
