Taking poll,,, Was wondering how many of you do not have a front plate with your tag characters??
And I know there are officers in here , but I don't care.
Save your attempts at intimidation on someone else.:D

Don't have one on my Ridgeline and I'm in CT. too. I've never had any problems. I have a Ski-Doo plate on the front of my Ridgeline.

It depends on the vehicle your driving. I was a cop in New Haven, CT. for seven years. Not having a front plate was just one of many reasons to pull over a vehicle that looked suspicious. Sad as it is, we were taught all the silly DMV laws so we had a reason to pull over pretty much any vehicle on the road. But, you're driving a Ridgeline, so you should have no problems!

Ha Ha Silver, I seem to recall a Crown Vic in your driveway, have you moved up to a Statey now?;)
My brother was a bpt officer and he was the one who gave me grief about my suggestion for cleaning up the front of the RL.
I just like the unobstructed look. Similar to the debadging of the chrome nameplates.:D
BTW I wish I had the scratch to do the lift, tires and rims. Yours is sharp.

LOL,,
No problem, I am required to read all of the print in my day job so even though I can't spell for sh*! sometimes,,,,, I must comprehend.

Believe it or not I just learned to turn a computer on last year, so every single person that is a ROC member is light years ahead of me with their skills.

I would imagine that you are about to purchase a new RL?

In MA if you have a green and white plate, you only need one. That's what I have, and I plan on keeping it as long as possible.

In Hollywood Florida we don't need front plates, of course it is against the law to back into a parking space. That sucks with the odds of an accident occurring higher during backing out.

Yes, in Hollywood Florida, backing in to a metered or city public parking space is against the law. Does it happen, yes, but your likely to be ticketed. Florida has no front tags and the police want the ability to see that your tag is still valid. (Without getting out of their patrol cars.)

This will allow them to continue eating their powdered jelly's without any interuption.:D
C'mon,,, it needed to be said:D

I am in CT and have a front plate on both of my vehicles.

I didn't have one on my old car because the bolts were broken on the mounting bracket. A few years ago there were 6 of us in a Mini Van heading out for some Snow Tubing shenanigans when we were hassled by a cop in Woodbury because there was no front plate. One thing led to another and a paperwork mix up with the vehicle owner landed us waiting for friends to pick us up and the vehicle towed. It sounds Cliche, but it really turned out to be a paperwork mixup with the DMV.

Anyhow, I think it really depends on the mood of the cop in question on whether they will enforce it or not, although i hear more and more about it so i just leave the front plate and deal. it's really no big deal to have one on there, imo, although i agree it looks better without.

Arizona has no front license plate, but backing into spaces is not against the law. However, after servining on the Superiour Court Grand Jury for several months and listening to officers testimony, backing your car into your own driver could warrant it a special check if your vehilce matches the description of one on the hot sheet. Out of 45 stolen vehicle cases, 40 of the theives were captured becasue they backed their stolen car up against a wall, peaking the officers attention.
