CRIMONE! That's one bad a$$ hyrdocarbon powered ground pounder!

Thanks for inflicting a serious case of hardware envy and a heightened sense of automotive inadequacy.

Must be nice to live in a state where the nazi tail pipe inspectors haven't infected government yet.

Very nice work!
LoL..... That's a very articulate way to put it!

Thanks!

I don't know what I would do if they were to start sniffing cars here. We only have to pass a visual. Fortunately there are a few licensed garages around that probably wouldn't notice the pre-cats being removed. They don't seem to care, as long as we have at least 1 cat in the exhaust. And there are a lot of them that are punched out...lol

Re: Headlight covers!

Thanks, it really gives it that JDM look...lol

For $60 it does change the look of the front end.

Appointment booked for timing belt and camshaft install this Thursday. I am in the midst of doing a bunch of home renos. So doing the install myself is not an option if I want it done any time soon. I'll run it with the cams for a while then work on maybe getting that intake setup installed later this summer.
60$ to do that???
It only took me a search on Amazon and 10 bucks to buy the tint and install.

Either way it looks clean!!!

The stuff I bought was pre-cut 12 mil poly-vinyl film. I did the headlights and both bottom lights. I am very satisfied with the quality of this product and the price that I paid. I knew that these would take a beating from all the highway driving that I do so the 12mil was the only way to go. Gotta pay to play!

Well the Ridgeline is down and out with a blown coolant pipe for this May 2-4 long weekend. The local Honda dealer didn't have the part in stock. So I ended up with one of these.....

Impressive for what it is, an ego boosting, cock enlarging waste of money. Glad I'm only paying $25/day for it while the Ridgeline is in the shop.

It's a rental. My dealership does not have 1 Ridgeline left on the lot. I told them I needed a truck for the weekend and this is what I got. A G2 would have been nice but to be honest, I have to pick up a load of manure tomorrow. I would rather fill this thing with shyte than a nice G2.

If someone ever finds a "HONDA DEALER" which rents "HONDA's", Fire Up the Bat Signal to let everyone know it exists...

Well, hard lesson learned. You should always verify the part numbers before committing to buying. The camshafts that I ended up purchasing were the 06-09 14100-RGL-A00 and 14200-RGL-A00. Even though the ones I distinctly remember being in my shopping cart were the 09-14 14100-RJE-A00 and 14200-RJE-A00. I have no idea how I ended up ordering from the 2008 parts page?????

Oh well, the brand new stage 2 Bisi cams that I have obviously don't fit my engine.

New cams on order.

That Sux, they wouldn't offer you a deal (xx% restocking fee)? Been there done that, maybe not to that $ amount, but close.

I've seen them, and would love to do something like that, but I probably have $1k in parts & accessories hidden in the garage now. Hiding the part, NBD, Hiding another $800, would be hard, But it's way beyond my skill set & who to hire?

Ooops! Wrong cams....

Yeah I had them shipped straight from a Honda Dealer in NJ, to Bisimoto in Cali. It wasn't until after they had been sent out for grinding that I realized they were the wrong part number. Unfortunately, they won't take back a modified part! Imagine if they did, the next person who bought them would have a big surprise...lol

Not getting any bites on them yet ether. Not sure why, set of $1200 cams, $400 OEM cams + $800 level 2 grind. Am I asking too much for brand new parts or something? Oh well, they won't wear out sitting on the shelf in my garage. Who knows, I may pick up an old J series engine some day, build it up and drop it in a Civic.

RV6 PCD pipes

How do you like the PCDs so far? I ordered them, just waiting for them to show up.
They are great, no issues at all so far. Aside from the installation. She is a tight fit on the firewall side! :frown: There is no fuel smell or raspy exhaust notes that I can tell.

Mailbox put out today..... Real deal RJE J35Z5 camshafts w/stage 2 grind ;)

by Chappy, on Flickr

Take 2 of my stage 2 cam upgrade to follow.

I know this is a bit of a stretch, but I'm wondering if any members have the stock 2012 J35Z5 RJE-A00 Cam Lobe heights as listed in the Honda Shop Manual? I am awaiting the delivery of my 09-12 shop manuals. Figured there might be someone out there with these specs that might share in the meantime. ;)

I am probably going to be dropping the cams in sometime this fall. Working nights on a shutdown right now so no real time.

As far as the ITB's go. I am about 6-8 weeks on having the throttle bodies returned. Had them sent out to be machined for max diameter throttle plates. Then I will be waiting on a set of custom throttle shafts that I will have made to match the new throttle plates.

So probably won't be installing that til next summer.

As of right now I am rather enjoying it as she sits. Every time I stop at lights beside another truck they seem to want to give the throttle a quick shot. I ignore them until the light turns. I seem to be leaving a lot of the big ass V8 gas guzzlers sitting at the lights! I don't think many of them are smart enough to understand the benefits of AWD and how the power to weight ratio works. ;)
