Since I am not intent on pouring more $$ than required into an aluminum radiator, I bought the cheapest one I could find on Amazon, and it looks quite nice. The one end is a little bowed out but the core looks straight. The bow will not affect anything as it is on the side. I believe a lot of these fail due to not maintaining the coolant / not using distilled water. I am planning on replacing it soon, either this weekend or next. Here are some photos for fun:

Nice!

Poor coolant quality is not the problem that causes all the OEM radiator failures on the 1st Gen Ridgeline; it is the design of the transmission pre-heater built-into the bottom of those radiators and the manufacturer's use of dissimilar metals with the fittings that create premature corrosion. Hopefully your inexpensive radiator does not have the same design flow.

Not what I meant. I mean in general, pinholes, etc. I can smell coolant and see some green. I have had aluminum rads / plastic end tanks fail the same way. The new rad has the upgraded type connectors. Same as the old one so it is not the original.

Also a couple bucks cheaper on eBay:

I would use Honda coolant which is premixed so blue rather than green and no worries about distilled water. . .
I also personally wouldn't put an aftermarket radiator in without having it pressure tested first.
SMOD might kill your transmission. A major radiator failure that leads to overheating might kill your engine.

After getting various pieces of crushed and perforated as well as just plain wrong parts from Rocky and Bullwinkle Auto I switched to Amazon for my large expensive parts. More careful shipping and faster, cheaper delivery as well as improved accuracy were my reasons. YOU DO have to be more careful to select the correct parts yourself but they do arrive intact.
