Every one in a while my dash flashes the yellow triangle??? It seems to do it when I am in snow or when my truck has to "work harder." What is up with that?

The manual is your friend and actually has a LOT of great info in it that you really need to know

..... do I need to give you this? :act006:

This is so true. I can understand if a person buys a basic Honda Civic with "power-nothing" and never gets to read the owners manual; even though there may be important safety information that can be overlooked by avoiding to read.

However, our trucks are a bit more complicated than a bone-stock car and avoiding the reading of the OM, in many cases, allows the owner to lose out on so many cool functions that the vehicle may offer.

Point-in-fact: After my factory-trained Honda salesman showed me to roll all four windows down with the key fob, I showed him how to roll them all back using the door lock. He was stunned. I told him to RTFM>:act014:

Not taking sides here, (Keith usually has good info to share) (but we Manitobans have to stick together), if you filled out your profile a little more we could ask better questions to understand your situation.
Do you have a new RL? Is it used/what year/trim? If used, did you get a manual with it?
If you have the manual, it's not wasted time in reading it, we sometimes get tired of answering the same question over & over again especially when, as speed pointed out, the answer is available to you (if you've got the manual).
Like I said, I'm not sticking up for Keith. We look forward to your questions and/or input you can provide to us about your RL.

My RTX is 2008...used from the U.S. The manual has yet to be sent, but will go and see my local honda dealer this week instead. I am annal about reading instructions so I do not put my foot in my mouth LOL. I would rather ask you guys, than the ones at a dealership anyday!!!

THANKS

Go to owner link and register. You should be able to download an owners manual there.

HI - Im a newbe to this site...lots of great info...just picked up a 2008 RT model; on drive home via 407 noticed the VSA go on..for no apparent reason..VSA Off had no affect. When we test-drove, low-tire pressure indicator was on, and was resolved by dealer..Anyone know if this requires visit to Honda doctor?
Also need to get my hands on an owners manual if anyone can point me to one.

My "yellow triangle" and the VSA letters illuminate after about 10 minutes of highway driving, whether it's rainy or not. This has happened at least 5 times, so I think I need to go see my dealer. My Ridge is a 2007 with 19,000 miles. I was wondering if the rear differential fluid is somehow overheating, and needs changing. Anyone else have this problem?

I think you have a problem with your VSA system.
